Dallas/Houston Trip!

“Blessed are we who can laugh at ourselves for we shall never cease to be amused.”

We went to Texas-very nice state full of history and wonderful nature, but I gotta say, whooo hoooo, it feel so good to travel and reunite with family again! It was very relaxing, fresh, and peaceful to be among family. It is one of the biggest things that I appreciate in life. I love the fact that, like Tio JuanCa said: "We don't remember what we bought few months ago, but we do remember our times with family." It is true because I just remember all the good times we spend together. I want to thank them for their attention and love! We had a blast!

Michael and Hailey are Tio Juan Carlos's kids, I got really attach to them, the kids also were really attach to us, talking about their school, their adventures, their games, their little friends, about Jesus and his love for us! At the end of the trip, Hailey said: "are we family" I was very happy to say "Yeap, we are!!!" She just smile and look at me with such happiness! Kids are so expontaneous when they talk, they make you laugh, smile, never judge you or make you feel bad! No wonder God wants us to be like kids because they are full of joy and innocence! Kids talk without thinking about tomorrow, forget their past, never worry about what others might think about their outfit or if you gain few pounds! It feels good to be among them!!!

I am just trying to dance in the rain without thinking about what people might think about me, just let my emotions go and flow as high as the sky! Let me dance in the the rain for few hours and remember my childhood as I did enjoy with my grandparents talking about the clouds, the sun and the moon! Laughing out loud while watching "chespirito, and el chapulin colorado." Playing hide and seek with my sister-Dalis, good memories, eh? While listening to their jokes and stories of their own childhood! Let me dance with the rain as if never going to be a tomorrow, just today!

“Love is an attachment to another self. Humor is a form of self-detachment - a way of looking at one's existence, one's misfortune, or one's discomfort. If you really love, if you really know how to laugh, the result is the same: you forget yourself.”
I just want to say that we need to pray for those people that are suffering due to the Tsunami and they are losing their families. It is sad to see on the news kids without parents, parents without their kids, homes destroy completely. Let us pray and focus on this things that are very important in life! God can change our hearts to help those others in need. May God Bless all of those in need! God Bless my family from everywhere, their plans, their future!
